A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to staff:

The Office of Sustainability staff provide faculty workshops and special guest speakers, during spring development periods, and professional development presentations to all faculty and staff within the academic schools, as well as online professional development (online sustainability step-by-step guide and online Sustainability Resource) guide on the Office of Sustainability website available to all staff.

The organization pays for PD opportunities to attend provincial (Ontario College and University Sustainability Practitioner) and national (e.g. AASHE) conferences. Fleming has participated in delivering workshops and poster presentations at AAHSE conferences in past years.
