A brief description of the certificate program:
Below are two examples of applicable sustainability-related certificate programs. 1) Green Business Management Graduate Certificate - This post-graduate certificate is designed to assist those interested in supporting and implementing broad-based business sustainability and to develop the knowledge, tools, guidelines, techniques and practices to do just that. 2) Sustainable Trails Certificate: This certificate program takes place at Fleming's Frost Campus, one of Canada's leading environmental education institutions. Offered on weekends, the program provides insight into the best practices in design, construction, and maintenance of trails. Students study and gain practical experience by applying techniques that enhance, rehabilitate, and protect trails and greenways. Interpretive studies of the various fauna and flora are explored from a sustainability perspective. This certificate provides a full range of trails theory and skills training available to trails groups, communities, employers, and government agencies.
