The position is responsible for assisting in the design, development, planning and organization of sustainability projects on campus. This includes chairing the Frost Sustainable Campus Committee, leading the committee in developing a strategic plan for campus sustainability and working with the Operations Leader to establish overall direction regarding annual work planning related to sustainability projects. Campus Sustainability projects include both operational and curriculum integration efforts related to areas such as the Green Roof, the Living Wall, the Arboretum, Butterfly Garden, the Centre for Alternative Wastewater Treatment (CAWT), Community Garden, food and recycling, transportation and projects related to the Sustainable Agriculture Program.
