Does the institution use a centralized energy management system that allows it to track energy consumption and performance in multiple buildings in a central location?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the management system:
Energy consumption for all Fleming buildings is tracked monthly at minimum, but in many cases at 15 minute intervals. Fleming uses a combination of automated and manual processes to track energy consumption. All energy consumption data is tracked via spreadsheets on a monthly basis to allow for performance comparison.
The building automation system used is the Honeywell EBI System which allows for control of the most HVAC systems in all campus buildings.
In addition, the college has installed interval meters for the majority of buildings, as part of the Real Time Operating System (RTOS).
With the RTOS, interval meter data taken every 15 minutes and stored for year over year comparison. The system uses Schnieder ION Enterprise software. It's a web-based software allowing for data collection for different building.
Fleming is working towards getting all buildings into the RTOS system.
