A brief description of the institution's stormwater management initiatives:
We have policy that is mandated by local regulations. The buildings and additions most recently built are under regulations that required stormwater management. We have a rentention ponds outside of the biomass boiler. We have an undergound system outside of Dyer and Clark to mitigate stormwater runoff impacts. We have impervious pavers outside of one of our dorms. The Campus Master Plan states that we are addressing run-off storm water to mitigate erosion issues that influence the campus pond. Also, we are partnering with VDOT to address storm water issues.
