A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:
We use snow plows in parking areas and roadways. We use ice melt in strategic areas only, i.e. building entrances, critical walkways, etc. A brine solution is used around key buildings, i.e. Student Center, Police Station, Administration, etc. We also use sand in these areas to improve traction. Ice and snow is removed manually as well, beginning with these key areas so that students, faculty, and staff can have a safe route.
