Innovation Village

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Innovation Village is a physical and virtual hub found at the heart of Fanshawe College's London campus. It is a student-focused space with collaborative workspaces, virtual reality and multimedia labs, a makerspace, project rooms, research support and cutting-edge equipment that serve as a one-stop support and a hub for exceptional learning opportunities.  "It will be a vibrant and collaborative space for students to bring their creativity to life; to work with leaders from all sectors to solve the complex problems facing our world today and plan for the challenges we know are coming." This new Building L project will be attached to an old library to create a new complex for classrooms, theatres, labs and common meeting areas.
