1st program
Sustainability Student Assistant
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
The Sustainability Student Assistant helps the Sustainability Office with all engagement activities and resources. They are tasked with attending college-wide events to spread the word about sustainability, develop new and exciting engagement opportunities, work with the Fanshawe Student Union to make sure sustainability is involved in all events and themed weeks. They are also responsible for regular social media updates and writing articles for the student newspaper. The Sustainability Coordinator provides all training necessary to help students be as successful as possible.

The Sustainability Student Educators Program is offered to all students who want to join through Fanshawe Career Services. Selected applicant/s is/are accepted after going through an interview process.

Sustainability student outreach programs are held throughout the academic year September to August. However, during the summer session, we do hold fewer activities and engage students mostly through Social Media posts. The Sustainability Student Assistants run the sustainability team's social media account and continuously post content year-round, even on academic breaks.
