Student sustainability research incentives
A brief description of the student sustainability research program:
Through an internal funding mechanism, the research and innovation fund, faculty members are able to access funding for sustainability research and regularly involve students in their research projects through paid positions. Students are also involved in sustainability research projects, as co-op students or paid research assistants, that are funded through external funding sources held by the college, such as the Centre for Bioeconomy and the Canadian Bio-Cleantech Applied Research Network.
Faculty sustainability research incentives
A brief description of the faculty sustainability research program:
Fanshawe has secured funding from federal government funders that funds research in many areas that are relevant to sustainability research topics. Faculty members are able to access that funding to support their sustainability research projects, without having to re-apply for funding.
