The City of London has a Design Specifications & Requirements Manual for Stormwater management. regulation of wastewater and stormwater drainage systems in place requiring landowners with a certain percentage of permeable surface must manage stormwater on-site.
Xeriscaping is routinely included in landscape planning, in all instances and in all new and renovated landscapes.
Z building has a storm water reclamation system, that collects rainwater in an underground storage tank and recycles it for toilet flushing and site irrigation.
Weather data is used to inform all irrigation systems, either by manual adjustment or built in rain monitors.
