A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
A survey was sent out asking students about their commuting habits, as part of our GHG inventory. 1244 students responded, which was more than what was needed for statistically relevant results. The survey was open for 3 weeks at the end of March 2018 into April 2018.
The survey was posted on social media, on posters in hallways, in offices, was shared via email, and posted on internal portals.
