Under Fanshawe's Custodial Services contract, the contractor is required to have a Sustainable Product Purchasing Policy to ensure the following:
- Use of certified (i.e. Ecologo, Green Seal, Environmental Choice) Sustainable cleaning chemicals.
- Use of sustainable cleaning materials, products, equipment, paper products and garbage bags.
- Use of sustainable hard floor and carpet care products.
- Use of sustainable cleaning equipment.
