Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:

"Cultural Exchange to Japan - this program promotes the understanding and deepening of friendship between countries, the institutions and students of Fanshawe College and Ibaraki Christian University.

School of Design - Students in Environmental Design and Planning visit Bologna and learn about the origin of the 100 mile diet, organic food and wine production practices, in Lucca they study a Renaissance manuscript that prescribed sustainable agricultural landscape design and siting practices and in both Italy and Spain the students learn about alternative heating and cooling practices using microclimatic design. The students study regional food production throughout Italy and Spain including balsamic vinegar, olive oil, wines, cheeses such as parmigiana reggiano (sp) and meats such as sienese pork. We also compare practices across regions and cultures. Students also learn about brownfield reclamation, urban renewal and adaptive architecture as sustainable practices in Barcelona."
