A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:

International Week is an annual Fanshawe tradition that provides students with the opportunity to learn more about issues pertaining to international development and the world around us. It includes week long activities and events that gives students a way to learn about the world by meeting new friends from other countries, trying new foods, and learning from others through their international experiences. Activities and events include:
- International Student Cultural Panel
- Carribean Social held on campus
- Canadian Immigration Seminar
- International Food Fair
- Karaoke
- Table Tennis, Cricket, Volleyball, and Basketball
- Ten Thousand Villages Shopping
