A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate:
There is signage on all bins representing how to properly divert waste; student outreach programs and events are held in hallways and are facilitated by the Environmental Coordinator from Hurleys; education of staff working in campus eateries is essential and done on a regular basis to make sure all pre-consumer waste is properly diverted.
