A brief description of the plan of action to achieve waste reduction goals:
Fanshawe College has a waste reduction goal of 65%. To achieve this, we are working with students, staff, and faculty to raise awareness of how to recycle and also the impacts of proper waste diversion. Each semester, we attend first year classes to present to new students about sustainability on campus and focus on waste reduction and diversion.
