A brief description of the reusable to-go container program:
The FSU offers an Eco-Takeout Program, which encourages students to purchase a card ($3) which allows them unlimited access to reusable take out containers at their eateries. Containers are retrieved in exchange for the card at time of purchase, used and returned when convenient, at which time it is taken for washing and the customer is provided with a clean reusable container. Ceramic dishes are free to use but cannot be taken out of the eateries. To further discourage students from using disposable packaging, a charge of 25 cents is placed on every order where a plastic disposable is requested.
Olive Oyles sells their own reusable soup containers and coffee mugs, offering a discount when both are used.
