A brief description of the event(s):
1) A Sustainability Speaker Series is offered three times in the fall and winter semesters. It is a series of speakers and films meant to inspire and engage students, faculty and staff in sustainability on and off campus, encourage new ideas and raise the collective conscience of the Fanshawe Community.
2) An annual Ecofair is held at the beginning of the holiday season to promote eco-conscious gift giving. Small, local businesses with an eco focus are recruited as vendors. Past vendors have included hand-made skin care products and cosmetics, knitted items, natural scented oils, home made preserves, and green cleaning products
