A brief description of the enterprise:
Fashion Fits is an alteration service created by Fanshawe’s second year Fashion Design students. Conveniently located on campus, Fashion Fits provides quality workmanship and great customer service, all at affordable prices. Proceeds from Fashion Fits are being raised to assist in Fashion Design’s capstone fashion show, Unbound. There are many unique and beneficial features to supporting Fashion Fits. These benefits include convenient service and delivery to offices on campus. There is also a loyalty program: if you purchase five pant hems you receive the sixth hem for free. Live Chic is a learning lab that operates as a unique retail store to serve as a learning environment for the students in the Fashion Merchandising program; together with the faculty they operate all aspects of a retail store. Live Chic plays an integral role in providing the applied education the students need to be successful in the industry as well as in further studies. Mission statement: "Live Chic provides Fashion Merchandising students unique hands-on retail experience by applying the classroom theory; merchandising, display, buying and exceptional customer service techniques in a retail environment. Live Chic provides fashion forward merchandise for students, faculty and staff of Fanshawe College".
