Does the institution have at least one sustainability committee?:
Yes
The charter or mission statement of the committee(s) or a brief description of each committee's purview and activities:
The mission of the Clean Energy Committee is to support the success of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resource conservation at Evergreen. We carry the responsibility of representing the interest of the student body as we appropriate the Clean Energy Fund. The fund is designated to offset 100% of the electricity used by Evergreen through renewable energy credits. The committee allocates the remaining fund to students, staff and faculty with goals of reducing the campus carbon footprint through research, education, or implementation. The Clean Energy Committee supports the creation of models for climate solutions through collaborative on-campus research.
Members of each committee, including affiliations and role (e.g. staff, student, or faculty):
The committee is student-run, and includes a Chair, Outreach Coordinator, Information Desk Manager, Project Director, and Secretary/Treasurer.
Does the institution have at least one sustainability office that includes more than 1 full-time equivalent (FTE) employee?:

Work on the college's carbon neutrality and zero waste goals

Yes
Name and title of each sustainability officer:
Scott Morgan, Director of Sustainability
Does the institution have a mechanism for broad sustainability coordination for the entire institution (e.g. a campus-wide committee or an officer/office responsible for the entire campus)?:
Yes
A brief description of the activities and substantive accomplishments of the institution-wide coordinating body or officer during the previous three years:
The Office of Sustainability supports institutional efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, sustainability-related student projects, and community connections. The Director of Sustainability sits on the President's staff, outside the operational divisions of the College, and is therefore able to work across all divisions and at most levels of the institution.
Evergreen’s Director of Sustainability prepares the College’s annual GHG inventory and other assessments, as well as supporting student work, advising capital planning, coordinating events, and engaging with community planning and projects. In the past few years, the Director has been involved with regional conferences (OHESC, WAHESC, and now WOHESC), on campus events, planning for utility infrastructure, leading bicycle commuting events, developing and managing EV charging stations, and participating in county-wide climate action and adaptation planning. He has also supported student academic work focused on green building, industrial hemp, public engagement process, and storm water contamination impacts on salmonid growth and development.
