A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage faculty research in sustainability:
Euromed Management has five research priorities that have been defined by our school’s management. Professors who publish in these priorities can benefit from a number of “incentives” or advantages. For example, the priorities influence greatly the hiring, tenure and fellowship policies.
One of our priorities is: Environmental and Ethical Dimensions of Businesses and Organisations.
Another way the school provides incentives for sustainability research is by setting up research chairs on related topics. The CSR Department and the Corporate Relations team work with faculty members to set up chairs on topics such as: alternative finance or sustainable procurement. The CSR Department also coordinates the school’s Think-Tank – the Responsible Manager’s Network. This network works with faculty on a number of topics and the professors are remunerated for their participation and applied research.
