A minimum of 7 course sections (including representation of each division on campus) meet the Sustainable Practices Student Learning Objectives of our Capability-Based General Education Curriculum.
The following are the objectives needed for the Sustainable Practices and Environmental Conscience (SP):
Demonstrate understanding of contemporary environmental issues as well as the
complexity of proposed solutions.
Demonstrate understanding of the changing relationship between humans and nature
over time.
Recognize interconnections among economic, environmental, and social issues to
develop sustainable future‐focused practices.
Apply academic study in order to identify, evaluate and act to address sustainability
problems of local, national, and global importance.
