The college takes all of their recycled cardboard (material support) to this company. The company is a local recycling business that hires people with developmental disabilities to help improve their quality of life. ADDWC also has a representative on the Eureka College Sustainability Committee.

For any scrap metal the college has to dispose of, we bring it to the local scrap metal yard (which is 1 mile away from campus), this includes old scaffolding, old AC units, and things of this nature. We are helping the local community economy by using this business instead of another place further away that would give us more money for the scrap.
