A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
There is a mandatory lecture on Eureka College's Core Values for all first-year students and transfer students. One of Eureka College's core values is Sustainability and Stewardship which is a focus of this lecture.
There is a mandatory service project for all first-year students, including transfers to attend during our welcome week with their first year seminar classes (which focus on Justice and Civic Responsibility). This project focuses on serving the surrounding community and social sustainability.
