Chartwells at Estrella Mountain Community College uses Nutra Clear - Bungee and Canola – Premium Deep Frying Oil. Neither have hydrogenation. Furthermore, they are "always trying new recipes that are healthy and low in trans-fat as well" (Laura Falaschetti, previous Manager of Food Dining Services at EMCC, Chartwells).
Note: Chartwells is a contracted food service provided for EMCC.
