A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:
Step 1: A survey was sent out to all full-time (residential) and part-time (adjunct) faculty members to fill out pertaining to if their courses were focused or related to sustainability (including what those definitions mean at EMCC and what constitutes focused or related courses according to the STARS criteria). These results were compiled for the initial list.
Step 2: A review of the course catalog was undertaken and instructors with course description that may be focused or related to sustainability were contacted directly. Positive results were added to the list.
Step 3: The combined list was sent to all faculty members for final comment. Those that could argue their courses were focused or related to sustainability were added to create the final list.
