A brief description of the source of non-potable water and how it is used:

Estrella Mountain Community College's Mariposa Hall, the new LEED Gold building, is equipped with a Stormwater Management System in which the runoff from the entire roof of the building is collected in two large runnels on either side of the building. The runoff is then collected in collection tanks and used to irrigate the natural landscape surrounding the building.
