Campus Sustainability Committee
A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The Committee on Campus Sustainability helps to advance, prioritize, and evaluate Endicott's sustainability initiatives and first campus-wide Sustainability Plan; it is made up of faculty, staff, and student representatives which can serve one year or multi-year terms. The Committee meets monthly during the academic year to discuss progress and goals as they relate to campus sustainability. Formal education is provided by the Office of Sustainability at meetings for individual members to directly educate their departments on campus and act as a liaison between staff/faculty (and students) and the Office of Sustainability. Ultimately, the group is provided information and tools to directly serve the faculty and staff (and students) in their respective schools/departments.
A brief description of the employee educators program’s target audience (1st program):
Primary target audience is made up of the faculty, staff, and student members of the Committee, who are then given the agency to spread the information given to them to their respective departments and colleagues.

Additional Programs
The Office of Sustainability holds a yearly training for RA and RD staff on recycling and sustainability. RA's and RD's communicate subject matter to their students throughout the year.
Custodians and Housekeepers (numbering about 45 employees) undergo an annual waste training to learn how to properly sort waste and recycling, which has been a combined effort by Physical Plant, the Office of Sustainability, and the College's waste hauler.
Compost and waste training for dining services staff.
HR Benefits and Wellness Fair with educational information from departments across campus for staff/faculty. Direct educational experiences and formal training for staff to understand College offerings i.e. staff have provided information and trained staff and faculty on proper recycling behaviors, composting, waste reduction competitions/campaigns in offices across campus.
