The Sustainability Newsletter is distributed via email to faculty, staff, and students monthly. This newsletter highlights recent campus sustainability initiatives, projects, and events, as well as informs readers on global sustainability news and sustainability-centric student organization meetings on campus. The Office of Sustainability also maintains multiple social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. These platforms are used to highlight events hosted by the Office of Sustainability and sustainability student groups, as well as provide sustainability tips and information on local, regional, and national environmental policy changes.

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:

All campus facilities are equipped with universal waste signage on trash, recycling, and compost, where applicable.

There is information displayed throughout campus on vending machines, fume hoods, laundry machines, bathroom mirrors, etc.

There are digital screens located in most buildings throughout campus that display content such as "green" tips, sustainability event details, recycling information, and data on green building features and sustainability initiatives at Endicott.

There is outdoor signage as well highlighting features such as our solar canopy, pervious pavement parking lot, and native species throughout our hiking trails, vernal pools and wetlands located on campus.


Does the institution provide a sustainability walking map or tour?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:

Our green guide shows a map of the campus which highlights the sustainability elements in each building. The Campus Map also has a dedicated "layer" that highlights the sustainability features of every campus location. The Office of Sustainability also developed an "EcoMap", which has locations of all sustainability locations on campus and allows users to interact with each item to see a picture, description of location, and description of the item (link here- https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1QP6ssNvxhAj6SnazG3eV4yIAKk4OYd0i&ll=42.556652013963244%2C-70.84059018081786&z=16)

Tour guides are trained on sustainable campus features to include on campus tours, and give campus sustainability tours on request for visiting speakers/as part of campus events.

Yes

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:

We have an Endicott "green" guide that explains sustainable aspects of various buildings on campus, including residential halls. We also have an Office of Sustainability brochure that is given out to students, faculty, staff, and prospective students. The brochure outlines sustainable aspects of campus and ways that students can get involved with our office and contribute to a sustainable campus.

RA's/RD's are trained and provided with educational activities to engage their students in sustainability.

The Office of Sustainability also developed a Green Programming Guide, which is provided as a resource to student clubs and faculty/staff departments to assist with sustainable event planning.
