A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
This percentage is based of the percentage of students that live on campus and walk, bike, skateboard or use the campus shuttle to get around. This is an annual number. First year students are not allowed to bring a vehicle. The campus shuttle also transports students to parts of Beverly, including main stops along the commuter rail.
