A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

The College recently received a state grant (https://www.masscec.com/) to install an energy efficient VRF HVAC system on its newest building and is undergoing a project to install the CO2 scrubbing technology, enVerid (https://www.enverid.com/), in three buildings to reduce energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, and improve indoor air quality. These projects not only address energy but also the health and well-being of our community as we spend 90% of our time indoors.

Our new Academic Center has been operating fully since last Spring and the VRF system is be trended continuously to monitor energy use and fully understand proper operation to ensure occupant comfort and energy savings. The College is trending and tracking building energy use and air handler operation at buildings to determine operation of new equipment.
