In 2005, Emory adopted a strategic plan that includes a sustainability vision that sets a goal of 25% energy use reduction per square foot by 2015 in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. This fall, Emory is finalizing a new set of reduction goals for beyond 2015.

In 2005, Emory adopted a strategic plan that includes a sustainability vision that sets a goal of 25% energy use reduction per square foot by 2015 in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. To date, we have over a 15% per square foot energy use reduction.
