Emory uses non-potable water on selected properties, including the Goizueta Business School, Sorority Lodge, Few/Evans, Yerkes, Oxford Road Building, Math and Science, Whitehead Biomedical Research Building, and Freshman Hall IV. All use harvested rainwater for irrigation with the exception of Few/Evans and Longstreet-Means residence halls, which uses harvested water for toilet flushing.
