Has the institution developed a bicycle plan?:
Yes

A brief description of the plan:

The current campus Master Plan has recognized the importance of improving the pedestrian and bicycle facilities on campus. Bicycle lanes are added to internal roads during new construction or renovation plans. Bike facilities, including racks, showers and lockers, as appropriate, are included in new facility construction. In 2007, a master plan for bicycle parking was developed by the Campus Services in conjunction with Bike Emory. The Emory area bike map, created by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and the Clifton Corridor Transportation Management Association, includes locations of bicycle amenities and was updated in March 2009 by Bike Emory. Emory University was also the pilot for the Atlanta Regional Commission's Bike Buddy program, which allows bicyclists to use the regional ride share matching software to find potential bicycle commuter "buddies" (a program similar to the carpool ride-sharing program). Currently, Bike Emory, in conjunction with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), is conducting preliminary work for a comprehensive bicycle plan for the roads leading to the Emory and CDC campuses.
