Every two years, Massachusetts issues a commuter survey that Emerson is required to complete with sufficient/representative data. The most recent survey was issued in 2021. The representative sample was reached via email and signage.
3.65% of trips taken by students during the week studied were drive-alone trips. All others fell into sustainable transportation categories.

Instead, each student and staff member records how they travel to campus during a specific sample week in October, 2021.
