The endowment size figure is from a May 31, 2021 investment report.
The square footage numbers represent FY 2020-2021. The majority of this report is based on FY 2020-2021, with exceptions noted. In Fall 2020, most residential students returned to on campus housing, and classes were held primarily in-person, with hybrid or remote formats utilized as needed and COVID-19 safety protocols in place. This approach and format continued into Spring 2021, and the campus continues to operate in-person with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
Despite the impacts of the pandemic, maintaining consistency among Elon's STARS reports, which have been submitted every other fiscal year since FY 2011-2012, is important to monitor institutional progress.
