Does the institution have an ongoing program that offers incentives for academic staff in multiple disciplines or departments to develop new sustainability courses and/or incorporate sustainability into existing courses? :
Yes

A brief description of the incentive program(s):
Faculty may apply to be a part of the Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program. Faculty members identify a course that they would like to modify to include a sustainability component, relevant to one’s own discipline, and are provided with pertinent sustainability resources and pedagogies to achieve this goal. Ideally, the new or revised course is taught the following academic year. Participants must be full-time, permanent faculty members. The program has included participants from various disciplines including accounting, art, biology, business law, chemistry, communications, computing sciences, dance, economics, education, engineering, English, entrepreneurship, environmental studies, exercise science, finance, geography, health and human performance, history, law, management, marketing, music, political science and policy studies, public health studies, sport management, mathematics, philosophy, physics, sociology and statistics.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
Faculty members receive training resources to help incorporate sustainability topics into the course. Faculty selected for the program also receive a $1,000 stipend upon completion of the requirements. Faculty members may also participate in on-going pedagogical development opportunities, which occur yearly for those who have completed the program.
