A brief description of the energy management or benchmarking program:
The building automation system monitors main electric usage at a minimum by university owned metering. Where size or usage warrants, sub-metering for mechanical, lighting and plug loads is included. Also, where service is provided and monitoring warrants due to usage, natural gas is monitored. In many cases, hvac temperature and air quality are monitored and set points controlled by the BAS. Rooms and buildings are also monitored for an Environmental Index. Alarms are being implemented to assist in maintaining quality and efficient space conditions, as well as anomalies in real time service.

A brief description of the water management or benchmarking program:
Where size or usage warrants, metering for water is included in the BAS monitoring system. This is used in comparison to utility metering to determine leaks. Alarms are also being added to alert of high usage on a real time basis to identify potential leaks.
