LGBTQ-inclusive policies, programs and practices include:
-optional demographic questions around sexual orientation and gender identity on the application for enrollment and health forms;
-Campus Recreation asks gender pronouns on all Intermural and Club sports forms, allowing students to play on the team that aligns with their gender identity;
-the creation of 100+ universal restrooms (formerly known as gender-neutral) as well as private changing areas in athletic facilities;
-ally trainings across Campus Safety & Police, Health & Wellness Division, Athletics, Student Life, Fraternity & Sorority Life, etc.;
-the advancement of academic courses across Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies offering 100+ courses across 15 departments in gender or sexuality;
-the existence and growth of the LGBTQIA Alumni Network, LGBTQIA Faculty/Staff/Employee Resource Group, LGBTQIA student organization (Spectrum), and the 4-room Gender & LGBTQIA Center as a physical space.
