Does the institution make cultural competence trainings and activities available to all students?:

A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:

Edmonds Community College participates in the Annual Students of Color Conference held in Yakima, WA, and opens scholarships up for any student on campus to attend. There are 20 slots available for students to attend. The College also puts on a student leadership conference called "Leadership is You" which includes topics such as diversity, cultural competency, and social justice. This conference is available for up to 175 students. We also have cultural competency training as part of our Student Government and Activities Programming Leadership Team, as well as include a cultural competency component as part of our Peer Advocate Training on campus.
