Sustainability Website: We have a sustainability website through the college’s main website which provides an overview of our sustainability efforts across campus, and we have an additional Google site which allows more (timely) freedom to highlight our Green Team, our Sustainability Council, the Campus Green Fund, and more.

The Green Team maintains a blog about their work. In addition, we have a symposium at the end of every academic year entitled "Making Learning Visible." While this is open to all students, many projects highlighted incorporate some aspect of sustainability into the posters/presentations.

In Spring of 2010, one of our classroom buildings, Meadowdale Hall, underwent a renovation that is certified at LEED Silver level. Right as you walk into the building, there's temporary signage about this and other sustainability highlights. We intend to order a LEED silver plaque to post. In addition, we are piloting "Grid Navigator," which is an energy tracking program that monitors energy usage by building. There is one LCD screen with this information up in Meadowdale Hall right now with the intention of expanding these LCD screens across campus. In addition, in spring 2012, we added signage to our solar panels on campus that generate power to the grid.

In 2011, our Food Service Department replaced the use of Styrofoam with 100% compostable to-go containers; they have signage to indicate this in the cafeteria ordering area as well as at end of use - at the Materials Management Center. In fall 2012, one of our Green Team members created a brochure/table tent featuring our Materials Management Center that highlights the importance of composting and recycling. These table tents are on the tables in the eating area of the cafeteria

In fall 2012, one of our Green Team members created an online Google Sustainability Map for campus so students can check out sustainable features (such as bike racks, our solar panels, windmills, etc.) on campus and find out more information about them using their smart phones.

The college along with Food Revolution Snohomish County and other partners began to offer an annual festival last spring called, "Celebration of Food Festival." This free festival brought 1500 community members together to learn about real food: producing it, buying it, and cooking with it.

This year we have budgeted money for more interpretative signs across campus at various sites that highlight sustainable practices.
