A brief description of any recycling quality control mechanisms employed, e.g. efforts to minimize contamination and/or monitor the discard rates of the materials recovery facilities and mills to which materials are diverted:
Following waste characterization of residual materials, it was noticed that the recycling materials recuperated were contaminated by residual liquids from the coffee cups. To solve the problem we added, on every sorting stations, a poster sign indicating to dispose coffee cups in the garbage bin. We then observed significant improvment in the contamination rate in the recycling bins.

When it is possible everything is deployed to make available in electric format courses and other documents. In order to do this, ÉTS uses multiples internet platforms such as Moodle ÉTS, MonÉTS or the university website etsmtl.ca.

Wastes generated by moving are already very limited because appartments are rented fully-furnished.
