Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:

Preci: Student Program for International Cooperation. This program allows ÉTS students to live an international cooperation experience that consists in designing and carrying out, in a developing country, an engineering project lasting four months. All this by participating in the development of communities that need basic infrastructure such as a school, a medical centre, a training centre or any other project aimed at improving living conditions.
OBJECTIVES
Build a sustainable, solid and original infrastructure;
Apply project management, construction, mechanical and electrical skills learned to design the project;
Involve the local community as much as possible in the project in order to create a sense of belonging.
Draw inspiration from local know-how in construction techniques and encourage the purchase of local materials;
Getting a better understanding of the world and international development issues;
Promote student engagement about international cooperation.

LETS GO technology missions: Project carried out by 12 students that will enable them to acquire new know-how in industry, technology and university research at the international level. Projects focus on the 3 dimensions of sustainable development. In 2018, students visited various organisations, including universities working in renewable energy, sustainable city projects, as well as light optimization in greenhouses. They also visited Tesla. The economic pillar was very present with the creation of economic and strategic links with companies and universities. In addition, the social pillar was fostered through the development of mission members by managing the project as a whole and by learning the skills necessary to carry out a project of this scope.
The project is an opportunity to think about a more ecological way to travel by using reusable water bottles, by using public transit and by centralizing visits close to hotels in order to minimize travel.

The objectives:
The main objective is to establish professional and academic relationships with engineering companies and universities based on the American and Canadian West Coast.

-To understand the realities and work environments specific to different sizes of companies with high technological potential.
-Identify solutions that address the challenges of the 21st century: environment, exponential growth, advent of technology, artificial intelligence, etc.
-Develop management, multidisciplinary and intercultural teamwork, open-mindedness and leadership skills that are useful for an international career.
-Discover and study the different pedagogical approaches within prestigious engineering universities.
