Name of the sustainability-focused graduate-level degree program:
Master in environmental engineering
A brief description of the graduate-level degree program:
Students who wish to undertake this master can either write a thesis or undertake an intervention project in a company, an application project or a technical report.
This program train specialists in the development of clean technologies, processes, methods or tools that support these technologies to solve environmental problems caused by human activities.
To do so, students acquire advanced knowledge in the field of environmental engineering, including scientific and technical knowledge of ecosystems, analytical techniques and treatment or remediation techniques.
Students will also acquire the skills and abilities necessary to analyze the technical, economic, social and environmental issues of a complex problem situation, design preventive, corrective or curative solutions and validate the conformity of a solution and its implementation according to the requirements of industries, municipalities or government institutions and the socio-economic and environmental issues of its long-term use.
This program totals 45 credits and is offered in continuing education. To this end, activities are proposed for the fall, winter and summer sessions.
