A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
The Provost's office was asked to inventory the total number of courses offered in the '20-'21 and '21-'22 academic year. Institution Research and Information Management then provided all the courses offered in those same years. Individually-directed courses, special topics courses, physical education courses, field experiences, lab courses, recitations, and clinical courses were excluded. Unique course prefix and numbers were counted so that separate sections or multiple offerings in different semesters were counted only once for all courses.
Sustainability courses were inventoried by requesting a Google form to be filled out by individual faculty members. The request went through the assistant deans in each college in the university who passed the information to department heads and then to their faculty. The requested information was given on each column of the inventory document that was attached.
