A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
All employees of Eastern Mennonite University are expected to obtain and maintain a high level of cultural competence. Throughout the academic year there are a variety of opportunities to increase cultural competence that include, but are not limited to, specific anti-racism programs, annual funding for staff to attend conferences, and department training programs that that highlight cultural integration and proficiency.
