In addition to EKU's Climate Action & Resiliency Plan that outlines key carbon emissions mitigation strategies, several of which address energy efficiency, EKU has also developed and is implementing an Energy Infrastructure & Investment Master Plan (http://sustainability.eku.edu/insidelook/easterns-new-energy-infrastructure-investment-master-plan) focused solely on improving the University's energy infrastructure. EKU manages is energy usage campus wide utilizing the EnerNOC load shedding software and relies on a series of meters and submeters to provide additional layers of data for evaluating energy consumption.

EKU monitors water consumption trends through a comprehensive utilities tracking spreadsheet that is updated with each billing cycle and reviewed by leadership over Facilities Services and Finance & Administration for anomalies that could indicate leaks or other infrastructure issues.
