EICCD has presented on our Sustainability Initiative at the 2008 AASHE conference, and at the 2007 UMACS conference.
EICCD has presented on our Sustainability Initiative to a meeting of the Iowa Community College Presidents, and has hosted delegations interested in our initiative from Des Moines Area Community College and BlackHawk Technical College (WI).
EICCD has played a large role in organizing and hosting a bi-annual meeting of local higher education institutions for workshops on sustainability in 2009 and 2011 (WIU, BlackHawk College, Augustana College, St Ambrose University)
EICCD has participated, first as a resource institution and then as a member of the Appalachian Alliance for Sustainability hosted by RTS (Regional Technology Strategies Inc)

EICCD houses ATEEC - the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center, an NSF-funded Center of Excellence. ATEEC's mission is

ATEEC's vision is to "Foster a network of educational communities, supported through public and private partnerships, that ensures human health, safety and global sustainability. "
