A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
EICCD holds an annual Staff Development Day in the fall of each year, with required attendance by all staff and faculty. The 2009 Staff Development Day had a Sustainability theme, and consisted of breakout sessions and activities relating to a wide variety of sustainability topics. During Staff Development Day in other years, breakout sessions have included sustainability topics. All staff and faculty (and students)are also invited to the annual Sustainability Restreat. The Sustainability Manager has presented at college meetings held just prior to the beginning of each semester at all three of the EICCD campusses. A list of sustainability resources is provided on the EICCD sustainability website, which is linked from the EICCD Professional Development website.
