Does the institution offer a condensed work week option for employees? The institution does not have to offer the option to all employees in order to earn this credit.:
A brief description of the program:
During FY2010, EICCD offered employees the chance to work a four-day, ten-hour workweek during the summer with the purpose of reducing the number of commutes by staff to worksites. Approximately ten employees took advantage of the program, and all were satisfied, although some found the ten-hour work day onerous. After evaluating the impact of the program, the district decided to discontinue it this coming summer, primarily because reductions in staff due to budget cuts make it necessary to have employees present in offices on all days.
